The new Bosch Universal Plus mixer: Enhancements have been made in capacity, power and convenience, and packaged in exciting new styling! Perhaps most remarkable is that even though the Bosch Universal has long had the world's greatest reputation for durability among heavy-duty mixer users, Bosch still chose to make their machine mechanically better-still, with significant advancements. The classic Bosch Universal already has an amazing average lifespan of 17 years. The new Universal Plus now has a sealed oil transmission that more than doubles the life expectancy of the power train. And the new 800 watt motor is the strongest of any mixer in its class, with a new design that extends motor life expectancy four-fold. Up to 15 pounds of heavy dough can be mixed and kneaded at one time. That's enough to make up to nine loaves of bread, in one batch! This truly is a remarkable piece of equipment.
